How
can I find the items that I want?
- Enter
your search item in the Search
box
and click the Search
button or
- Browse
for your item using the categories in the left navigation bar
- To
search for Pantone
Swatches or Yarn

What
if I am located outside the U.S. are the prices the same and do they
include
shipping?
- All Subscription
prices are
based on a U.S. shipping destination and include shipping charges. To
find out what the subscription
prices are to your shipping destination please log in.
- Books,
Pantone Products, Pantone Swatches, Yarn Skeins
and single
copies of Magazines and Forecasts:
Prices are the same for all countries but do not include
shipping charges. Shipping charges differ depending on your
shipping destination and will be calculated at Checkout.
I
am logged in but there is a message saying "Available to USA address
only", what does that mean?
- Subscriptions to most
U.S.A based magazine titles are available to U.S.A. addresses
only but contact
us as there are exceptions.

- Your OPR username is
your email address.
I may
have purchased from or visitied OPR in the past but this is my first
time on the OPR website. How do I login?
- If
you purchased from or Visited OPR in the past, chances are you are
already in our database and can use the Quickpass
option (see below)
- You may use the Quickpass
option from the Home Page by clicking on the First Time Users
link on the top right hand corner.
- This will bring you to our Account Login
page. Go to the middle section where it Quickpass Registration

Easy Steps!
- Enter your account number (If you do not have your
account number, go to the section under Quickpass registration that says "request
account number".
Enter your
email
and your name and submit your request. You will receive an email with
your account number shortly!) Once you have your account
number, continue the following steps
- Enter your email address
- Create a new password-it can be numbers and/or
letters
- Confirm the password- Make sure you type
exactly what you typed the first time!
- Once you have completed the above steps,
select the "Create
account" button. You should now be logged in!
Please
note: After you have logged in using the Quickpass Registration you will only
need your username
and password for all future visits to OPRNY.COM
Forgot your password?
Here's what you
do!
- Go to the login page.
- Underneath the account login section
there is a button that says forgot password.
- Once selected 2 fields appear asking for email and account number.
- Enter your information and an email will be
sent to you with your password information.

How do I add books/Pantone
products to my cart?
- Books and Pantone Products (not including
Pantone Swatches and Yarn Skeins):
- Click the
"Add to Cart" button from the
thumbnail or click "Learn More"
and then "Add to
Cart"
How do
I add Pantone Swatches to my cart?
- Pantone
Swatches:
Click on the category link on the left navigation bar. This
takes you into the
Pantone Swatches order menu.
- Enter a 2 digit Pantone prefix code (e.g.
14)- a drop down menu will appear. If you continue to type
your number the list gets smaller.
- Locate your Pantone swatch number
and then click on the small green arrow.
- Enter a quantity and click update.
The quantity and dollar totals will appear.
- Click "Add to Cart". A message
will appear: "Item(s)
have been added to your cart."
- To add additional swatches type another 2
digit prefix and repeat the process.
Please
note: if you do
not select Add to
Cart at the end of your entries, they will NOT be
added.
How do
I add Yarn Skeins to my cart?
- Yarn
Skeins: Select the Yarn Skeins
catagory on the left navigation bar. This takes you into the
Yarn
Skein order menu. There are 2 ways to select your colors.
- First- Choose the Color
Portfolio book- the available seasons will populate in the
Season box.
- Second- Select the season-
the available colors will populate in the Color Box.
- Select
the color and enter
the quantity
- Select Add
to Cart
- (repeat
above steps to select additional Yarn skeins)
- Searching
Yarn Skeins by name: If you aren't sure of what
book your colors come from this may be the better way of finding your
colors.
- Fill
in part of the name; for example: if you type in 'gr' every color
with 'gr' will appear; green,
gray,
pomegranate
etc. As you type in more letters, the smaller the list will
get.
- Once you find the color you are looking for,
fill in the Quantity
box.
- Then Add to
Cart (repeat above steps to select additional Yarn skeins)
Please
note: if
you do not select Add
to Cart at the end of your entries, they will NOT be
added.

Why
do some titles say I must "log in" before receiving pricing?
- Some titles say that
you must "login" in order
to receive pricing because publishers require that we get
to know you prior to the sale of their titles.
Why
are some magazines/forecasts "internet restricted"?
- Some titles are Internet
restricted because publishers don't permit their products to be sold on
the internet. Please
note: You can always contact us
if you are interested in an internet restricted publication and we will
add it to your order!
How do I purchase a subscription
to my magazine/forecast?
Please Note: Magazines are either shipped to you by OPR or
Directly from the publisher or distributor.
- When you
are in the magazines product page, select the button next to
"subs" from the product table underneath the full cover
image.
- Select
either Current Issue
or Next Issue
(sometimes the current issue may be greyed out, this means that we are
sold out of this issue)
Why are some magazine
subscriptions/forecasts available to U.S.A. addresses only?
- Subscription to most U.S.A. based magazine
titles are available to U.S.A addresses only but contact us
as there are exceptions.
How
do I purchase a single copy?
- When you are in the magazines product page, select the button next to
"single" from the product table underneath the full cover
Why can't I
purchase certain magazines/forecasts by single copy?
- If a
magazine is shipped directly
to you from the publishers we are unable to get any single copies. (Note: All American
titles are shipped direct)
- For
international titles we may have single copies in stock or may be able
to order them for you even though the "single copy" option is
unavailable. Please contact us
and we will be happy to let you know if we can get them for you.
Why
can I only select the "next issue" when purchasing a subscription?
- International titles:
Occasionally the Current issue is out of stock but we may be
able to order the current issue for you. Please contact us
and we'll do our best to get it for you.
- American titles:
Subscriptions can only begin with the Next Available issue.
(This
is also based upon the publisher's lead time to begin a new
subscription).
Why
is the Current Issue the same as the Next issue?
- The
Current
Issue may
be the same as the Next
issue when
the current issue has been received in our warehouse and is in the
process of being shipped out to subscribers.
What
does "next available" issue mean?
- Next
available
means that your subscription begins with the next issue offered by the
publisher or distributor
How
long will it take to receive my first issue?
- From OPR:
Some titles we have in stock so delivery is available within
24-48 hours. Other titles need to be ordered so delivery may
begin in 1-2 weeks or sooner.
- Direct
(from publisher): The actual delivery date of your first
issue
will depend on how frequently the magazine you ordered is published.
Allow 6-8 weeks for weeks for weekly magazines and 8-10 weeks for
monthly and those less frequently published. This a standard
waiting time throughout the publishing industry.
Why
do I have to pay before my subscription starts?
- Publishers
require payment up front, so must ask for the same.
How
can I cancel my magazines subscription?
- Subscriptions can only be canceled at
expiration. If you decide to cancel your subscription you
may contact us
- Once your subscriptions are canceled
the Red
Circle with X will
appear under your Account
Manager Subscription tab.
How
do I remove items added if I change my mind?
- Once
an item is in your Shopping
Cart you
can remove it by clicking on the red X to the left of it. A
box will pop up asking you "Are
you sure you want to remove ...." (the item you are canceling
will be filled in).
How
do I change quantities while I am in the Shopping cart?
- Enter
the new quantity and then click the Update button.

What
is the benefit of using the Quick Catalog?
- The Quick
Catalog is a tool designed for people who already know
what subscriptions
they want and prefer to choose them from a list.
HOW TO USE THE
QUICK CATALOG
- First, in order to view our Quick Catalog, you
must Login
- After you have logged in go to the upper right
hand corner and select "Quick
Catalog"
- Select
the letter
of which your magazine begins with. For example; if your
magazine
is Vogue select the "V" and scroll down to Vogue.
- To make sure that you are selecting the
magazine you want, you can hover
over each title and it will show a picture and short
description.
- Once you are sure it is the correct magazine Add to Cart!
You can do this for multiple magazine titles. If your
magazine has been added to the cart an "added" message
will appear to the right of the add button.
If I
use the Quick Catalog will I be able to specify the starting issue of
my subscription?
- No,
the quick catalog assumes that your subscription begins with the Next
Available issue.
If
I want my subscriptions to start with the Current issue instead of the
Next available can I still use the Quick Catalog?
- Yes. After completing the checkout
section, your order will appear as a web order to us and we can modify
your order with the starting issues of the International titles you
want. Your order will not be finalized until we get your
approval. Please contact us
and include a note in the comment section indicating which issue(s) you
would prefer to start with.

Note: This service is only available for
international magazine titles received from OPR.
For titles shipped Directly
from the publishers we cannot start the magazines any sooner.
Can I use the Quick catalog if
my destination is another country other than the U.S.A.?
- Yes, however all the prices in the Quick Catalog
assume a U.S.A address. If you are getting the

- magazines shipped to a destination outside the U.S.A.
we will adjust the prices accordingly. Once your order is received, we
will email back an invoice indicating the updated prices. The order will be on hold
until your approval.

- Go to your Shopping Cart
and click the Checkout
button. It will take you to Shipping Information
- Check to
see that your Billing
and Shipping
Addresses
are correct. If you need to make any changes to your
address(es),
please do so in the account manager. (It is located in the
upper
right hand corner of your screen. If needed, please see below on how to use account manager).
- Once your
information is correct click on the Checkout button.
- You will
see another summary of your order with tax charges (NY
only).
- Underneath
the summary you must choose your shipping method.
Please select ground,
second day
or next day
shipping. Charges will be added according to the
selection. (If
you would like to use your own FedEx or DHL account please Contact Us we will remove the charges from
your order and bill your shipping account directly)
- Payments:
- If you would like to pay by credit card
fill in the information and then Submit your
order.
- We accept M/C, Visa, Discover or
Amex
- If you would like to pay by Corporate check
select the corporate check button and mail it to OPR: 252 West 38th St 4th Floor,
New York, NY 10018. If you have your check number already
available, please fill it in.
- Pay on account: If
your company has credit terms with OPR Please fill in the PO# and press
submit.

remove the address from our database.
Can I use my
own shipping account # to ship my purchase?
- Yes,
you can save the shipping charge by using your own DHL or FedEx account number.
We cannot
accept UPS accounts at this time.

What is
OPR's Shipping Policy for Magazine/Forecast subscriptions?
- Shipping costs
are included in subscription prices for both U.S.A. address and other
countries for most magazines. If your shipping destination is
outside the U.S.A. you must be logged in to find out the prices of your
subscriptions
What
is OPR's Shipping Policy for all other items including single copies of
magazines and forecasts?
- Shipping
is additional for all other items and will be calculated at checkout.
(If you

Can I get my magazine or item
faster than the estimated ship date?
- Yes,
If your magazine or item is in stock we can expedite the delivery.

Where can I change my name,
company, phone number or password?
- Underneath the Profile Tab
there is a button called "My
Info". There you can make all the changes.
Where can I
change my address(es)?
- You can change both your Shipping and Billing
addresses by clicking the "Shipping"
or "Billing"
buttons under the profile tab. Once you have changed the
information make sure to click the "save address"
button.
Where
can I add an additional address?
- You can add an additional address
by clicking the Shipping
button under the Profile
tab and clicking the Add New button.
Can
I have my invoice billed to another location?
- Yes,
just click the Billing button under the Profile
tab. There
you can change your billing address.
Why do you want to know about me?
- In order to serve our
customers better we would like to know what industry you are from.
This will enable us to let you know if there is a new title
or
product that may be of interest to you.

What does each column heading
mean?
- Title:
Each magazine title is a link to its product page.
- Issues:
Number of issues per year
- Ending
Issue: The issue or date your subscription will
end
- Order
Date: The date your order was placed
- Order
Number: This is the number which we reference
each order by.
- Reminder
Date: This is the month your Renewal notice will
print out.
- Common
Reminder Dates: Please Contact Us if you require a common
reminder date for your subscriptions. Magazines may end at
different times of the year and it can be
- Status
circles:
- Red
- Your subscription is expired
- Yellow
-Your subscription is expiring
within a few months.
- Green-
Your subscription is still
active and not expiring.
- Red
Circle with X - Your subscription will
be canceled
at expiration.
- Price
to Renew: This is the price to renew your
subscription.
- Ship
Via:
- OPR- Shipped
from our warehouse
- Direct- Shipped from the publisher's
warehouse
Why does
the expiration date on my magazine label differ from what appears in
the "ending issue" column?
- The expiration dates
for your magazine subscriptions are estimates based on the lead time
given by the publishers. We do not receive actual expiration
dates from the publishers.
- Please
contact us
for any major discrepancies.
- Next
to each magazine in your account manager there is a checkbox.
Click the checkbox for the subscription you wish to renew.
Click Renew
All to renew all your subscriptions.
Handy
Tip: To save time, click Renew All button and
then uncheck the subscriptions you don't want to renew.
Can I change the sorting of the
way my subscriptions appear?
- Yes,
you can change the sorting alphabetically, by order date, order number
or reminder date. Just click on the blue headings!

Where
can I see the single copies I have purchased in the past?
- Go to
either the Magazines
or Forecasts
tabs and click on the single
copies button. You will be able to see the last
2 years of purchases.
Can I change the sorting of the

or reminder date. Just click on the blue headings!
Can I change my single copies
into a subscription?
- Yes, just click on the magazine title
link. This will bring you to the magazine's product page
where
you can order a subscription, order another single copy or simply find
out more about the magazine.

What
does each Product Status mean?
- Shipped
means that it was shipped from OPR's warehouse.
- Direct
means that it was shipped directly from the publisher
or distributors warehouse.

How do I check the status of my
order?
- To check the status of an
order go to the account manager and click on the Orders tab. (You can see 2 years worth of
history)
What does each
status mean?
- Pending-
this means that your order is awaiting approval from OPR.
Please give us at least 24 business hours to complete your
request. Please note our store hours.
- Open- once
your order is approved and has any unshipped items on it, it will say
open.
- Closed- once your entire order has
been shipped, it will say closed.

Where do I find a record of my
payments and credits?
- In the account manager payments tab.
What is
OPR's policy for using store credits?
- All open
credits have to be used within one year.
- Credits are available for new orders only
and may not be used for any outstanding or past due invoices.
